Twitter adds permanent HTTPS setting

Twitter, as an another giant on-line service, has lunched new safe HTTPS setting to encrypt connections between networks and users.

HTTPS connection is especially important when using an unsafe, open WI-FI networks. The service offered HTTPS access before, but it was active only after manual typing https:// protocol before the domain name. Now it works permanently by select "Always use HTTPS" in the settings.

The company uses VeriSign certificate.
