Some SSL products secure one domain name, but in 2 options: with and without WWW prefix. This free option is available just for a few certificates.
For several Internet users a domain CertyfikatySSL.pl and the name with WWW prefix www.CertyfikatySSL.pl may be the same internet name. However, the DNS system, responsible for recognizing Internet addresses, treats them as a 2 different domains. Security of this 2 domain versions is very important when user types the address of the website by himself and we can't be sure which version will be chosen.
Just a few SSL certificates have an option to secure both types of 1 domain: the main one and with WWW prefix. From our offer this option is free for standard certificates issuing by 3 vendors: Comodo, RapidSSL and GeoTrust. It does not include the wildcard, multi-domain and UC types.
