Higher warranties with GeoTrust
08-08-2011 10:26:00GeoTust - one of our best vendors - has upgraded its products again. This time company offers higher amounts of warranty.
Warranty of SSL certificate is a kind of insurance. Almost all SSL product has it, but still - despite wide SSL offer on the market - some vendors do not have warranty as simple part of their certificates.
Since beginning of August GeoTrust products on our site have higher warranties. For Wildcard type it is $125 000 now, for OV group - $250 000 and for EV - $500 000.
All details about upgrade:
- True BusinessID $100 000 -> $250 000
- True BusinessID Wildcard $10 000 -> $125 000
- True BusinessID Multi-Domain $100 000 -> $250 000
- True BusinessID EV $150 000 -> $500 000
- True BusinessID EV Multi-Domain $150 000 -> $500 000

General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) is a 99-article regulation meant to protect the private data of Europeans in IT systems. Announced in 2016, covers a broad variety of topics and will go into effect as a requirement on May 25, 2018. GDPR applies to any company doing business in Europe even if it is located elsewhere.
